Conversation Breakdown
Looking back now that you have graduated from college, do you feel you will have a “quarter life crisis” or do you feel like you will be happy when you reach 25?
Amber has a great outlook on this. She thinks that she will be happy when she reaches 25 and that 25 is just a number. As long as your living your life passionately and are enjoying the moments of each day, then you will go where you to be. This is some great advice for anyone who has just graduated from college. Cherish every moment!
What are you passionate about?
When it comes to passion, Amber is passionate about many different things. Among those they include business, creativity, design and inspiring and making people happy. Amber is also passionate about art and first got interested in it when she was younger. She even wanted to start her own clothing line when she was 7!
You mention you enjoy poetry and writing. Can you tell us a little about it?
Amber was actually inspired by her friend who encouraged her to go ahead and post her poetry out online. Although it was her first time publicly sharing her poetry, she got a great response and we are all eager to see what else she has in store!
You mention that one of the things you are most grateful for is your mom teaching you how to run a business and how to make a profit. Can you tell me what that was like?
While most of us were still trying to figure out how to tie our shoes, Amber was already making money. At just 5 years old, Amber was learning how to generate a profit and the value of money. Her first business was selling candy to other kids.
Amber cites her mother as one of her inspirations for being business savvy as her mother was the first person who introduced her to it.
Right now you have a corporate job. Do you plan on starting your own business one day?
Amber said that she has been thinking of a couple ideas, but that they are all still in the development stages. Still, Amber would like to get a startup going by the age of 28. I have a good feeling that one day we will be talking about Amber again but about her successful startup!
Most girls I’ve talked to say they won’t date within the ‘Tech-sphere.” Are you the same?
Amber has great response to this. She says that she is looking for someone that can compliment her while at the same time be different. Amber loves talking about everything ‘tech’ but it is important for her that the person she is with can teach her new things and share different interests.
What can we expect the rest of the year?
Amber will be taking the rest of the year to come up with a clearer picture on the direction she will go in regards to business and also she will be developing a more creative blog! I am definitely looking forward to seeing whats to come!

Amber, your company’s software looks awesome. Are there other applications? How about for a temporary services firm, where we have a bench of employees. Looks like we can customize the software to filter out specific skill sets and keep in constant communication with the pool of employees we have?
Carla - I love getting to know you too!
Daniel - email me to chat about this more - amber@leveragesoftware.com
