Passions: “If I had to narrow it down, I’d say three things:
- People – I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. That’s what makes blogging so fun.
- Traveling – I’ve been to 16 countries and have a severe case of the “travel bug.” I really look up to people like Cody McKibben, Lea Woodward, and Clay Collins who have figured out to become ‘location independent.’
- Business – Business fascinates me. Especially the marketing side of things. I love learning about consumer behavior and what motivates people. ”
Andy Drish, is the ish! Yu-kai came up with that one…
I feel that asking someone what they are passionate about is a super hard question. If you were to ask me that question, I would have to hesitate and think about it for a bit because I really just don’t know the answer.
Andy really surprised me in this video because when I asked him what he was passionate about, he responded without hesitation, “Travel.” He then went on to talk about his adventures in Europe that made me want to leave my laptop immediately and set off on an adventure of my own.
Reach out to Andy after this video because he was one up and coming blogger and professional that you really want to know.

Andy, great interview. I didn’t know you were so young. You have such a mature voice and presence in your blog. Hope you do some more video blogs, it’s great to see how tight the community can be.
So cool! Love the interview, Andy. I had no idea you were passionate about travel, I definitely am too.
Awesome interview Andy! I’ve been a huge proponent of your Blog is home, Twitter is happy hour post for some time now. I also dig that you love to travel. I think I would enjoy it, but I’d want to do it with someone else (pretty intimidating alone.) As far as places to settle down and live though… c’mon, there’s no place like Texas — not even SoCal.

I loved this interview! It’s true that seeing someone on video makes a huge difference and makes it so much more personal. It was really fun to hear your traveling stories…I absolutely love traveling too. Amsterdam is awesome but I only spent a few hours there (and it was raining too!) so I hope to go back - your story made me want to make a trip there again! This summer I’m also going to be traveling alone…hopefully it’ll work out and I’ll have some adventures too
This is a great interview! Both of you are awesome bloggers! Keep up the good work!
Andy, really enjoyed this interview and learning more about you. So cool that you’ve spent time in New Zealand, but not so cool that you’re an All Blacks fan - the Springboks (South Africa) are way way better
Jun - Thank you so much for interviewing me. This was a blast.
I absolutely love this site… Seeing everyone in video form is way better than just reading a post.
And an open invitation to anyone…. If you ever find yourself stranded in Iowa, make sure you give me a call.
I won’t be able to teach you how to surf…. but I can teach you how to go cow tipping.
Andy, you really need a face. That blue monster is doing it for you
