Conversation Breakdown
Why should people read your blog and where did the idea come from?
Vincent has some great points on why people should read his blog. Number 1 is for anyone that wants to unleash their ‘maximum potential’ and number 2 is that Vincent has read many eBooks as well as attended several seminars and now offers all this information free through his blog.
The idea for his blog actually came from reading about internet marketing and how you can make money from your blog. He thought that this was a great idea as he would be able to write about something he loves as well as make money at the same time.
Are you making money off your blog right now?
Vincent is actually making money right now off of his blog through advertisements and Google AdSense. He is coming out with an eBook soon which will also be a source of income.
Was their anyone that gave you the idea to start your personal development blog?
We all have our reasons for starting our blogs and Vincent has a unique one! Vincent actually started this blog because he had just gotten out of a relationship. He found that blogging was a great way for him to share his ideas and help others. He cites the book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey as one of the inspirations for his blog.
Sometimes when writing a blog you want to focus on a certain topic. Do you ever find it hard to stay within your ‘niche’ when writing?
The great thing about Vincent’s blog is that he is able to blog about many different topics while still staying within the personal development niche. Vincent is writes about Health, Money, and Success all in his blog and how each can help to personal development. He try’s to take various topics and apply them to personal development.
You state on your blog how the standardized education system fails to address basic life lessons. How do you think we can improve the education system?
Vincent tells a great story about a professor and a boatman. This is a story that has a great lesson and also helps to relate how the education system should introduce certain classes that teach life lessons.
How has technology changed peoples childhoods? For the good or the bad?
Although technology has changed quite a bit, Vincent believes that technology has actually helped children learn faster but also mature faster. Although the technology is able to make kids learn faster, they also have the possibility of learning things that they shouldn’t. Vincent says that it’ 50/50 when it comes to the good and the bad.
How has writing helped you and your career goals? Have you ever thought abut stopping?
Vincent loves writing his blog. Along with writing his own blog, he also finds himself reminding himself of his own teachings which allows him to grow as an individual. Although there have been times where he has felt discouraged when writing his own blog, Vincent has kept working at it and has persevered. Vincent message is to keep blogging and don’t stop!

Great story that talk about the education we have currently. After joining the workforce after school, makes me realize a lot of missing pieces not taught to us in our school days. Lucky, there’s a lot of great people around that wrote about personal development and financial education to improve ourselves for a great future
